Blues Traveler and Bare Naked Ladies
Blues Traveler and Cirque Dreams: Holidaze made for a great music choice. We have seen both bands separately at CMAC before, but together was a good show combo. People, if you want to dance, do it in the aisles so you don't block others' view. A skinny gal stood for the ENTIRE show, making her girlfriend and the girlfriend's boyfriend stand too, even though they wanted others to see. Save money and get general hillside tickets instead. I would have rated seating a 5, but 90% of the show involved this standing situation.
Pretty damn solid
A good show was put on by Skynyrd. I mean, they played a killer version of Freebird that I won't ever forget. Even as the opener, ZZ Top was pretty good. They've been doing it for a long time, and those guys are old. Good energy, sounded great, loud crowd that didn't want to stand up (OLD PEOPLE :/). I was highly entertained, they definitely didn't mail it in. A great double bill. If they are indeed retiring soon, a show you don't want to miss. You know what to expect and they deliver on that.

"I thought that it was so sweet when she had Nick go on stage and sang happy birthday to him. I loved every song that she performed. I had the best time ever!! I also enjoyed the acrobats it was cool to see them performing in mid-air on an open cube. He voice was amazing as usual. Cirque Dreams: Holidaze's entrance was awesome she was on a swing wearing a beautiful white sparkly dress. My husband tried doing that in a concert a while back but it did not work out because he never got a chance to go on stage. I thought it was so nice of her to let the young couple express their feelings toward each other in a proposal form. the stage was set up so nice and her dancers made the concert interesting to watch as well. I know that she is so busy but maybe one day. I will continue to go to all her concerts as long as she is performing. I have been a fan for a long time. I really wish I could have met her, that has always been a dream of mine."

I enjoyed seeing Cirque Dreams: Holidaze in person, just about everything about this experience! The ticket purchase process and cost were pretty reasonable compared to the Elton John concert tickets I purchased earlier this year, starting with that to the venue, to the music, everything was wonderful! Some bothersome religious people were yelling at us while waiting in line at the SAP Center, the only negative comment I would make. I know nothing can probably be done about this (1st amendment and all), but I find that type of behavior incredibly rude and "invasive" and wish something could be done to at least move them across the street or something.

"Cirque Dreams: Holidaze definitely surprised me. During one of them she got really emotional and it was stripped down with just her and the pianist. He has this Marvin Gaye kind of sex appeal about him. Wow, this lady is a powerhouse! This man was dancing and everything! Both artists were extremely appreciative to the audience for supporting them over the years and for helping to keep soul music alive. I traveled to DC from NYC to see this show and it was well worth it. Jill looked great! She sounded impeccable and even her all male background singers were entertaining. She sang just about all of the songs you want to hear and two new ones. This is definitely a show to see with your significant other. she recently lost some weight and was doing her thing."
Visually stunning, Musical amazingly.....but
I guess the reason I had to include the "but" was because I saw them in the 80s. Visually, the complete show was stellar. You could close your eyes for Cirque Dreams: Holidaze performance and swear the same members were alongside him. I swear at one point the wall was going in and out in some parts, looked like 3D, and I wasn't on acid! He certainly did bring along a surrogate band, and they rocked! We've come a long way from 1980 when it comes to computer enhancements, and Cirque Dreams: Holidaze took full advantage of them. The Wall was HUGE when it came out, the MTV videos, my friends tricking out his mini truck with a license plate that read "TYM2GO". I guess I had such high expectations to see this tour; it just didn't compare to when I was just an 18-year-old lad. I guess I've just grown older, and you have grown colder, and nothing is very much fun anymore!
